The inspiration for this painting came from a simple IG video that struck me deeply..so much so that I began sketching it past midnight. It reminded me of moments I’ve experienced in temples across Bangalore and its outskirts: that overwhelming stillness, the dim glow of oil lamps, and the humbling realisation of how small we truly are before the vastness of the divine. Created using acrylic on board canvas, this artwork is inspired by the majestic Padmanabhaswamy Ranganatha Swamy Vigraha. This piece is not just a depiction; it is a feeling. A reminder of divinity’s enormity, and of our own quiet place within it.
